MARP’s Community Corner Recipes / Hacks / Tips / Info

This page has an index my recipes that I have created or recreated from a recipe I may have found online or in a book. I used the recipes to create demo samples on the corner of Myrtle Ave & Washington Park.

I go to the Fort Greene Farmer’s Green Market and pick veggies and / or fruit needed for my recipe. I bring it to Myrtle Avenue Revitalization Partnership’s (MARP) Community Corner, prep and demonstrate how to make the dish for the community to see, ask questions, and taste. During the demo I usually will give examples of ingredient that can be used as substitutes, or additions to a recipe.

Our Community Chef Training program teaches community members how to facilitate workshops about local, seasonal eating and cooking; basic nutrition; fruit and vegetable identification; recipe selection and creation; knife skills; and food storage and preparation.

Below you will fine a link to my recipes.
